PG Reactions.

posted Jan 24, 2012 02:17:24 by WendyBiesheuvel
Does anybody have any suspected PG or other e-liquid reactions? Not just allergies, any side affects suspected. I notice if I vape heavy or use a higher percentage PG my legs ache, and my skin gets itchy around the neck and shoulders dominantly.

Here are a couple of articles I have found.

GriimmGreen thought it was a good article and posted it on his site as well.

I have had issues with ear infections since I started vaping. Coincidence? My last round of severe ear infections/sinus infection lasted about a month and a half. I visited the doctor three times and was given antibiotics and steroids. Finally cleared up for a few weeks and now I can feel it starting again in my right ear. I have no idea what's going on or what's to blame. I didn't get ear infections while smoking. I'm curious to know if anyone else is having similar problems.

I have an uneducated theory. I have read about some people getting infections from Netti pots when they use tap water and not distilled water. Something about otherwise harmless things getting in the sinus from the tap water. Maybe the same thing with vaping and not being careful enough to dry everything off before filling it and and using it to vape. I know when I have been using the condoms to refill the cartomizers I have not been careful after I rinse them out and reuse them to make sure they are dry. Maybe only using distilled water when cleaning might be wise? This by no means is advice based on any real knowledge take it for what it is worth.
